Web apps built around the way your business works
Customer portals, booking and quoting systems, internal tools and integrations. Built in WordPress, Laravel, PHP, Python or Cloudflare Workers, with a fixed quote before we start.
What we build with
We pick the tool that suits the job and your budget, not the one that’s fashionable.
-
WordPress
Custom plugins, WooCommerce extensions, member areas and integrations for sites that already run on WordPress, or need to.
good forSites your team edits every week -
Laravel
Our first choice for bigger PHP builds: customer portals, booking and quoting systems, admin dashboards and APIs, with proper tests and migrations.
good forBusiness systems with logins and data -
PHP
Plain PHP when a framework would be overkill, and fixes, upgrades and new features for older PHP applications someone else wrote.
good forSmall tools and existing code -
Python
Data processing, reports, scrapers, scheduled jobs and integrations, plus Django or FastAPI back ends where Python is the better fit.
good forAutomation and data work -
Cloudflare Workers
Fast, low-maintenance apps and APIs that run on Cloudflare’s network close to your visitors, with D1, R2 and Workers AI. This website runs on it.
good forAPIs, forms and lightweight apps
When a website isn’t enough
If your team copies data between spreadsheets, emails and a WhatsApp group, there’s probably an app in it.
A website tells people about your business. A web app does part of the work. Some of the things clients ask us for:
- Booking and quoting systems that check availability, work out a price and send the quote without you typing it up.
- Customer portals where clients log in to see orders, invoices, documents or job progress.
- Internal tools and dashboards that replace the spreadsheet everyone is scared to touch.
- Integrations with PayFast, Yoco, accounting software, courier APIs, Google Sheets and WhatsApp.
- Automations that run on a schedule: imports, reports, reminders and clean-ups.
- Rescue work on older PHP and WordPress code that has stopped updating or keeps breaking.
Want the app to read documents, answer customers or draft replies? That’s our AI development work, and it often goes into the same project.
How a project runs
Scoping call
Free. We find out what the app must do, who uses it and what it connects to.
Fixed quote
You get a written scope, a price and a timeline. Bigger projects are split into stages.
Build and review
You see working versions as we go, on a test link, not just screenshots at the end.
Launch and support
We go live, train your team and stay on hand for fixes, updates and new features.
Common questions
How much does a web app cost?
It depends on what it has to do, so we quote a fixed price after a free scoping call. Small tools and integrations are often a few days of work. Bigger systems are split into stages, each with its own price, so you only commit to the next step when the last one works.
Which technology should I choose?
Usually you don’t have to. If your site already runs on WordPress, we extend it. If you need a system with logins, roles and lots of data, we use Laravel. For APIs and quick tools that need to be fast and cheap to run, Cloudflare Workers. We explain the choice in the quote.
Can you take over an app another developer built?
Yes. We start with a paid code review so we can tell you what state it is in, what needs fixing first and what it will cost to keep it running.
Who owns the code?
You do. Once the project is paid for, the code and the data are yours. We keep it in a Git repository you have access to.
Where will it be hosted?
On our hosting, on Cloudflare, or on your own server. We set up backups and monitoring either way.
Do you build with POPIA in mind?
Yes. We collect only the personal information the app needs, keep it on secure servers, limit who can see it and log important changes.
Got an idea for an app?
Tell us what you want it to do. We’ll book a free scoping call and send a fixed quote.
